For those of you who have the power rear seats option, could you please post a pic of where the recline button is. Thanks.

If this option is not chosen, are the seats able to be manually reclined?
Or is it electric only?

They are above you as you sit in the back over the door they are not manually adjustable.

You can also recline from the rear. Can't find any pics of the buttons by the rear seats.

Just a side note as well--the switches on the C pillar do not operate unless the vehicle is running, so if you are loading cargo and need to adjust the seats, you have to do so from the rear switches

Am I correct in thinking that the electric seat doesn't recline further back than normal, but rather, it allows the rear seats to be made more upright to increase the cargos space?

I think they recline a little bit further back than normal, but not much...

Not sure about that; you need the child lock off on the driver side door. Then the passengers can adjust the seats. Not much of a recline. I think BMW started this option in the 2002 model.
