Used OEM HID Headlights

I found a set of used OEM HID lights for my X5, but the seller states one of the mounting tabs on each light housing is broken. Are these tabs replaceable?

Also, he states it does not come with ballasts, ignighters, etc. (only bulbs included). Anyone know the rough costs of ballasts, ignighters, tabs if repairable, and anything else I need to get these up and running would cost?

RealOEm show the tab repair kits. I don't know if they are actually available. (Why would a stealer sell a tab when they can push a complete light unit.) The correct ballast with ignitors for the X5 appear on eBay from time to time and usually sell for around $200 or so.

I have a set of 4 right here next to me. I can ship them for $12. They are a very easy install. They even come with screws. All you have to do is trim the broken tab down to the holes near the base of the tab. Then slide the new tabs in and tighen the screws. Works perfectly. I can take a few pics of them installed on the headlights I just repaired. Let me know, Rob

Goodluck! Just a tip bid at the last second. No sense in raising the price early.

I'm actually starting to think the seller has it rigged. I started low and there is another person who out bids me with an automatic bid every time. Started out at 50.00 for the par of enclosures and either the other bidder really wants these and has therefore put in a high max bid or the seller has created a buyer and set a highbid to automatically reach the price he's hoping for. I know its not ethical or probably with in terms of the ebay auctions, but it seems odd to me.... I've reached 100.00 and have been outbid again. I'll continue to watch it, but I'm not gonna play a game if that's what is happening.

Don't bid anymore just wait like xnsf said if your outbid then, then it wasn't meant to be. But DON"T keep raising it! That's what they want.
