Question Interior light question.

Just noticed today that when I open my door the interior lights come on, no problem there....However when I put the key in the ignition and switch on, the lights dont go off right away take around 20sec's! And also when I switch the ignition off the lights dont come on until I open the door. Now I cant be sure and from what I remember when you put the key in the ignition and turn on, the interior lights go off right away, and when you switch the ignition off, the lights come on!! Anyone any suggestions??

Yeah they come on for me right when I turn the ignition off and pull out the key. They also dim as soon as I turn the car on.

Is it possible that the timing/duration of the interior lights is a configuration setting?

Nope got it sorted! It was a fuse in the glove box marked "STARTER INTERLOCK" It seems to control the interior lights and was causing the problem.

Oh I was just about to guess a fuse. Kind of odd that is what caused it.
