Any Luck with Angel Eyes retrofit to 2003 X5?

Anyone one have a 2003 X5 with an angel eyes retrofit? Heard it's impossible due to the super sealant used on that model year. Is this correct? Any work arounds found by anyone yet?

I posted about this not so long ago and didnt get much of a response. I dont think there is anyone who had luck or tried the 2003 headlights. But what I was told to do was purchase headlights between 2000 and 2002 and just do the conversion on them and install on you 03 X5!

Thanks....do you know if having an X5 with Xenon and getting like 02 lamps without Xenon matters at all? I want to keep my Xenon lighting so is that easy to transfer to the new light setup when I add the angel eyes or do I have to find 02 or earlier lights WITH Xenon to keep that option when I add the Angel eyes?

Thanks again for the response.

Not sure about that to be honest? I have xenons also and was thinking the same thing! I think the only issue to worry about there is if the xenon bulb will fit a non xenon casing. As the rest of the xenon system is attached to the vehicle. Maybe an expert on this issue on the forum could help!
