Question 1st timer- need advice on buying CPO X5!!

I've left deposits on 2 X5's- one a 2003 with 36K for 31,500. The other a 2005 with 18K for 40,000. Both have same options, NAV, premium package, etc., and ar the color I want, Black with Beige interior.
I 'm leaning toward the 2003, but wonder if it might be worth it to pay a little more in case I want to trade up in 4 years for the new version. I have a large dog and a baseball player in the family and am a little worried about cargo space. I currently drive a VOlvo XC wagon, which has plenty of trunk space, but I'm done with Volvo's. Should I just go with the "03, and if I want another car in 4 years, get a '07 off lease?!
HELP.....need to decide tomorrow!!

Both are very good prices, the 05 will have more factory warranty and has 1/2 the mileage, and is only $8500 more, I personally would go with that, as it would have much more resale value in 3 years.

As far as cargo area, there is less than the XC, but you can't compare the ride... Good luck in your decision!

I agree, and it's also the facelifted model!
