For those with cloth inserts: you like?

I have the potential of buying an 03 X5 4.6is. She looks good, has all the bells and whistles. The only thing I see is the cloth inserts in the middle area of the seats.

For those that own X5's with this, do you find it comfortable? Would you have preferred the full leather given a choice? Does it wear well?

Not really cloth. It's Alcantara, which is high end synthetic leather. I have have the red and black checked in mine and love it. I think it's more comfortable and wears better. Just my opinion. Good Luck.

I have the Alcantara interior also and love it, it also holds you better than leather when slithering through the twisties. It doesn't hold heat or cold like leather its always comfortable and when its too cold just hit the bun warmers.

I have leather, but I would love to have the 'cloth' inserts. They look comfy.

Phil, I called them. They don't have one as you described. They only have a blue one that they want a small fortune for.

They must have sold it right after I told you about it. I drive by there everyday to my office and it sat on the fence line for at least 2 months...talk about timimg. I thought you picked it up when I didn't see it anymore....Phil
