September 2006 X Series Sales Report

September sales of the BMW X3 and X5 Series totaled 4,537 units, down 31.5% from the 6,623 sold last September. YTD sales of the X Series were also down 12.3% when compared to the first 9 months of 2005.

For those of you who are interested Mercedes-Benz sold 5,873 trucks this month thanks to the addition of the R Class last September and the GL Class this April. For the first 9 months of 2006 sales of MB trucks are up 91.0% when compared to the same period of 2005. Of the 35,413 MB trucks sold thru the first 9 months of 2006, over half (51.6%)were the new R Class and GL Class.

X5 sales have hit BMW sales. I am sure it will more than make up in December and January.
