My Automatic X5 Stalls....

I'm up to 90,000 miles now and I've been having stalling issue of late. It's mostly when I'm turning, rarely when I'm driving in a straight path...but it is getting scary because today it stalled when I was exiting off a freeway (LAX/Century Blvd.) the exit has a lil bit of a curve to it, I was on the right lane and as I was turning the wheel. it stalled...so the wheel was locking into place and I had to force with both hands to steer my car back to the right side.....luckily for me there was no car on the left of me

If anyone knows what the problem may be please let me know.

There are a handful of reasons this is happening. I had a couple of stalls while turning, left both time I think, and it was believed to be a bad ignition coil that was replaced and I have not had any more stalls. Sometimes it has been linked to the MAF or a vacuum leak. Toss in potential fuel system problems.

BTW, come to WestFest IV. Check the link in my sig and RSVP. You're in LA so you ought to join us.

appreciate it, i'll let the shop know when i take my car in next week. it first started out with only wide left turns (usually just u-turns) but now it's happening more frequently
