X5 won't start after oil service light reset. HELP!!

I reset my oil service light today following the instructions here:
http://www.xoutpost.com/articles/x5/e...ts-bmw-x5.html

I connected the cable to the pins indicated for 5 seconds but the oil sevice light did not go away. I then tried it for 10 seconds which reset my oil and well as inspection lights. So far everything went according to plan. Then I tried to start the car and it wont! It makes a click sound when I turn the key. Radio, lights, windows etc. are working fine.

Has this happened to anyone else? I did a search on the forum which indicate that I either need to jump start the car or have my DME reprogrammed to clear memory faults.

Please help me here!! Thanks!
