So Whittier California Sucks...

I've had to park my 4.6is in Whittier, California for the last three years and pretty much once a year, someone is inclined to open their door and hit the side of my car. I'm graduating from college in a little more than a week and getting out of here, but I'm wondering if anyone knows how much a typical Ding Doctor costs. I have at least four, maybe five tiny divots that I want replaces. Can anyone help me with an estimate or even a good place in the SoCal area that does this?

maybe 100-200 bucks
just get a hold of one of those dent wizard guys when they are doing another job, ask them to come to you or meet you somewhere on the weekend or when they are off and do it for cash, it'll save you some $ ;p

Exactly: Did that with my 7 series. He was suppose to fix four minor dents.
He found 15. Eight of them i never saw but he did. Did a great job.

Whittier's not that bad, Fergie, Nixon and I all grew up there and went to Whittier High. It's newlie wed or nearly dead Quaker town, if you're at Whittier college your uptown, your likely from uptown and the first thing you learned as a Whittier Poet (ugh) is what drugs to do. I went there too. Try this place in below Huntington Beach 80 bucks and good work for minor ding. It's all about where you park paranoia. Greasing the parking attendant dudes is a fine art too.

Well, I never knew that Fergie grew up in Whittier. Considering the best alumni we have as Poets is Roger Lodge from Blind Date and Andrea Barber, otherwise known as Kimmy Gibbler from Full House. I live off of Mar Vista/College, so not entirely in Uptown but close. Most of the dents have come from parking at the college, people just don't care about anyone else's vehicle. Or they think if you have that kind of car, you can afford to get it fixed. Thanks for the help on the dent shop, I'll check it out.

Sorry to hear about your dents! You may want to try Whittier Autocraft - it's west of the HomeDepot on Washington blvd.

I went to Whittier College - never had any problems with dents - could be because I drove a Toyota Celica.

Good Luck!

I'll check that one out too. It seems like the Whittier area has some good places for upgrading your car. I've been going to Modern Auto off of Whittier and almost Hadley for my rims and smoked out lights. I'll look into the place by Home Depot, thanks.
