Angry HELP alarm keeps going off

im getting frustraded and dont know what to do, its raining outside and my alarm keeps going off i have no reason why i cannot lock the car i tried pressing the lock button twice to switch off the tilt alarm sensor and to no avail nothing works.. IDEAS?

Try disconnecting the hood sensor (passenger side up near the firewalll) and see if that resolves the problem.

Yup. That's usually the one that acts up. Mine had to be replaced by the dealer. The short term solution I used, until I took it to the dealer, was adding a rubber spacer under the hood just where it makes contact with the alarm sensor pin.

ah ha! you guys rock, thanks for the tip
guess ill get a rubber spacer and place it there so it makes better contact with pin
