how to check an used x5

Im interesed in a X5, 2003, 3.0,38k miles, and had it drove today. the car runs good, but has little noise when backing up. the noise sounds like window shaking. is this normal?

Im a newbie to used cars,how can i check the car in detail before making final decision?
are there any procedures I can follow?

Just pay $50-$100 to professional mechanic he will inspect the vehicle for you.

You must be armenian. X5ian

Run a carfax report it will tell you of any major accidents. Get the VIN # and post it here on x5world I'm sure someone would be kind enough to run a carfax for you.

I had BMW run an vehicle inspection on mine before I bought it. It cost $100 and took about 1-2 hours.

I signed the contract and paid the deposit just after the test drive, without doing any other inspection.

I admit it was truly an impulse buying, but I just love x5 too much.
