2005 X5 3.0 Reliabiliby
I'm going to the Inskip Auto Mall in RI on Tuesday morning to see if I can strike a deal on a new X5. Recently I've been reading a lot of negative reviews about the eariler models having electric gremlims. Is this still the case with the 05's? Also has anyone had experience with the Inskip dealership? Thanks |

My '05 only has about 3,300 miles, but it has been fantastic so far. No glitches or complaints whatsoever.
...and this is important to mention - my wife has no complaints either

There are nightmarish stories about the 01's and 02's..across the board..3.0, 4.4...For 03's and up, the 3.0's SEEM to have performed superbly...I know there were a couple issues with some 4.4's in '03, like transmission glitches, but for '05, you should be A.O.K...usually the last couple of years production on any car will see the best years in reliability..
Of course by that time you're pissed off because the next models' concept pics are out...LOL...ARGHHH!!
