Heater - Taking 5+ Minutes to Heat Up

Is this normal for an X5? I had it running on Maximun 90 for like 5-10 minutes and it felt like it was running 70.

It takes about 10+ minutes to get the heater to start working.

Will warranty cover it if something is wrong?

maybe your engine is not warmed up enough for it to divert heat to the airconditioning unit

It was still blowing out "warm (closer to high cold)" air when the the engine was warmed up (needle in the middle).

Make sure your vent adjustments are with the red dot. Maybe that might help???

My X has the opposite problem sometimes. After I turn off the heat, hot air won't stop for atleast 10 or 20 minutes!

You might be low on coolant. I had a very similar problem, turns out I had a coolant leak and was way low. I still don't get why I didnt get any warnings from the car...
