Just signed up. Hi all

I have been going back on forth about getting rid of my car for some time now. 528i. Lots of issues but I love it very much. plus I owe nothing on it.

Now I have been looking at a few cars/suv/sav.

I have looked at

Toyota FJ Cruiser (new)
X5 3.0 (2003)
Nissan Xterra/pathfinder (new)

Would the x be more reliable than the others?

Reliability on a 4 year old X5 versus a new vehicle isn't a totally fair comparison. However, I can tell you that the driving enjoyment of the X5 will surpass anything else out there in the SAV/SUV segment, hands down.

I love the X5s but brand new they are way out of my price range. The issue im having is i admire no other cars other than BMWs. Its like if i purchase something else i will regret it. Am i the only one that feel this way? I means ive looked at every other car company.

I finally got mine last week. A 2005 X5 3.0 Demo, never titled, with 16K miles. Navigation, Cold weather Package, Very large Moon roof all for under $40K. Gotta love the Chicago BMW market.
