newbie needs help removing front licence plate

Hi!

I was trying to remove the front licence plate last night for my 2006 X5 3.0i. I can easily remove those two screws of the plate holder under the front bumper. Can anyone tell me how to remove other screws if there are any? Thanks!

I removed mine in 2 seconds but I drive an 02. There are 4 screws holding the plate onto the front plate mount, then 2 screws holding the plate mount to the front bumper (at least thats how mine was). Once you remove your license plate from the holder you should see the connecting 2 bumper screws to remove it. Hope that helps.

I live near San Francisco CA and my sister has a BMW M3 with no front plates and she goes to San Francisco only occasionally and she got 2 tickets in the mail for no front plates. I think they are pretty strick on it in San Francisco, they give those ticket like a expired meter ticket.
