Tire brand recommendation!!

I just got a set of 22" Antera 345 wheels and am looking for tires to put on them. I know the tires' size are 285/35/22 but still have not decided on which tire brand to get. I live in Arizona and it's mostly very hot in the summer and mild cold in the winter. Can you guys give some recommendation, pros and cons of different tire brand? Thanks.

J.

Need more info. Are they staggered? If they aren't staggered go for the Toyo proxies. If they are staggered then Michelin Diamaris.

Oh! I am thinking of using 285/35/22 all the way around.

Have you allredy had the 22"s on the X5 yet, did it vibrate ???? If it does you will need control arm bushings or some people call them thrust rod bushings, if you dont need them now you will soon.

Welcome to X5World. Wow, I am flattered . Your first three posts were all dedicated to my threads. I am surprised that my other thread was resurrected after ten months .

And yes, I followed the shop owner's advise to replace the control bushing arms. I was not sure of what the control bushing arms are, but that was how the mechanic explained to me and thus I just wanted to put down what he said so some folks here could help me out. After all, I just want to know what I pay for and if it is neccesary because I am on saving mode until I am done with my clinical rotation, but the mod bug is screaming in me , thus came the 22" Antera. I did not mean to give the shop a bad name or so. I still go to that shop for all my X5's maintenance service though.

With the 22" x 10 wheels on, the ride is smooth with no vibration so far (knock on wood). I have Toyo Proxes tires and I don't notice much different in road noise. But one thing that is most noticeable is the gas mileage. With the OEM 18" wheels, I got around 20.1 MPG, but with these new wheels, I got around 18.6 MPG. The good thing that the gas price has dropped recently . But the new appearance is all worth it .
