Got 135 mph in my 06 3.0 man trans last night

Yep, 135 last night. Cold air induction and aero kit are the only upgrades I've done. How fast have you gotten your X up to?

Got it up to 141MPH on the Autobahn just outside of Berlin. I only knew 141 because the dealer ran the computer when I brought it back to the States for its first check up and asked me where I was on such and such a date doing 141MPH. That was on a flat with no wind at my back either!

I know I got around 130 to 135 out of our old 3.0 on a trip down to Italy once but that was downhill with a bit of weight in the car.

No engine upgrades on either car and both auto transmissions.

135mph indicated, probably just 129mph actual - hwy 93 nevada - I plan to get to Bonneville (salt flats) raceway and join the "130" club - the "150" club requires a rollbar - too much water on the track last year - this year I was closing on a townhouse in South Carolina - 4.4 sport 2001 Dinan S2 upgrade, over 1000 rpm left under my foot

Had my X5 around 130mph on the speedo, not to say it was actually 130. I'm just very impressed with the ride quality at that speed for a vehicle displacing that much air

Now my E46 M3 I had was another story, that thing rarely saw speeds under 100mph

I read somewhere that there is some kind of limiting factors that only allow the X5 to go up to 127mph (fuel cut-off or so). So I just wanted to try it out on I-5 in CA on my way back to San Diego.

I got clocked by a cop at 130mph momentarily after that (but he was nice enough to put down 105mph), got a big ticket, was required to show up in court, license suspended for 30 days, the insurance went up double for the following three years and the DMV's record was just cleared last December . But honestly, I felt like I was going around 90 mph or so.
