The AUX input is around $82 dollors from the dealer! Not sure if there are any aftermarket or other suppliers for this.

The exchange rate and shipping cost probably explains why it's so expensive. I got the part from Crevier about a year ago for about $30. Of course, if you got the skills, you can always build your own Aux cable with parts cost less than $5. It's a relatively simple circuit (see attached).

Interesting. Where's that circuit diagram from? If it's not from BMW, has it been verified? I'm all over this DIY if the circuit is correct!

Why they are charging 75$ if they sold it 30$ last year?! even this price without shipping! (I wannna ship it to NY)
I wish if i can understand the circut diagram that u sent , to build, but i am worry to burn the sound system if i tried

But if this diagram exist i am sure that i can find an after market product...Right?

Thanks,
Fad

I can't remember where I got the diagram from, but do recalled that some forum member did the mod and posted it. Since the cable cost me $30, I didn't bother building one on my own to verify the diagram.

Not sure why they raised the price as the MSRP of the cable isn't more than $40. Make sure the quote they gave you is for the older system...not the current MOST system in the current 3, 5, 6, and 7 series. The $75 quote sounds like it's for the MOST system
