Nearly bought a 4.8 but the cash of an extra $10K over my 4.4 was the diff between getting a car or flying coach with the family. For peace and quiets sake chose Business class over car, especially as I do a lot of 5000+ mile trips.

I saw a silver 4.8is at an auto-x last weekend. It sounded awesome as it was on course. It made me want to bring my 3.0L out there for fun.

Yeah I love the V8 myself! and very happy with the sound of the stock exhaust system!

The 2007 4.8 exhaust does not sound as good as the 4.8is which is sports tuned. 4.8is exhaust does get attention. Wait till I add eisenmann race.

I love the sound of the V8, which is probably why I don't get very good gas mileage.

the one i saw was definitely 4.8is. so if i did an exhaust mod it wont sound like the 4.8is?

also, how much does an exhaust mod cost?
