Unhappy Sunroof leak any help?

Hi Guys, Im the new guy . I love my 2000 x5 4.4i but am going crazy that after carwashes or rainy days the front driver floor gets soaked and I had told my local stealer and they said it was the door seal and they charged me an arm and said it ws fixed after a week and a huge miami rain storm water again and no fix ...now we traced it all the way to the sunroof and they want to charge me the leg the other arm and my balls. upwards 3k !!! They say it's probably the sunroof cassette. I am about to silicone the sucker shut and save 3k... any help?

Good to see another Floridian here, welcome...The sunroof cassette has a post-production part or fix that corrects rattle issues, at least in the 2004 models. Mine, (under warranty) was just replaced for a rattle problem. The reason the bill is so high is that the entire headliner has to be removed.
