Exhaust Mod
Okay, so some of you read my lil thread earlier in the week about the 4.8is...well, now I want to do a mod on my exhaust.
How do I go about it? I dont want it to sound like a suped up Honda. What are the costs? Does the stealer do it? Or find someone else? I have a 3.0 2003. Please Help!!

depends on the mod u want. some have replaced the full
exhaust, others have removed the resonators and some have installed the X-Pipe. all of which can be done by an independent mechanic.

A couple of ideas come to mind (x-pipe and 4.6 mufflers with oval tips for one) but read this and it might shed some light.

brok- replacing the full exhaust sounds like mucho dinero...
i wonder how it will sound if i remove the resonators or get the X Pipe...hmmm jv- thanks for the article! off to read....

i'm not sure the cost of a full exhaust, but a quick search
of some of the sponsors or dinan will give u some idea. as for the sound of ur X w/ the X-pipe, i have no clue. someone here has posted a sound clip of their X w/ the X-pipe, but i think they may have had a 4.6is or 4.8is
