To buy or not to buy...

my next mod are my lights. I HATE MY LIGHTS! I really want euro clears with angel eyes...that's my dream. (i'm such a sad girl! )

anyways, i saw these on ebay last night and i wanted honest opinions from all you savy X5 owners...

These are coming from Tawain and they're pretty much final sale (according to his ebay page). The seller seems to have a solid reputation on ebay...and supposedly they are NEW.

he did send me this email today though:

tijanaw brought up an interesting point about possibly having difficulty wiring these lights. i guess, i just don't wanna be stuck...i can buy a new pair of shoes with that money, yk!!

I quite like them too but always weary of sellers in Japan, Taiwan, China etc as there have been allot of issues with people not receiving their items or they arrive defective and cant get an exchange. Although the feedback for the seller is good! Did you ask if they were XENONS??

I also checked the sellers bidding history, the majority of his feedback is good but all received from private id's which would worry me slightly!

I hear ya! I just bought a shawl from China off of ebay last week but it was only $40...no biggie, yk?

The lights are "projector halogen."

For $700, I would buy a set of oem xenons and some angel eyes and go that route, many people have done it, so you know it works and it will be a cleaner look.

save up for oem ones, headlights replicas are notorious for not fitting properly, don't get me wrong they fit the car alright but what about when you'll have larger gap in one spot, then smaller around the headlight, hood area? then you'll kick yourself, plus they are halogen, if you're going to upgrade might as well go hid oem, more spendy but big difference in quality and vision on the road, just my 2 pennies

I would NOT buy it because of the quality. I can almost guarantee you that the quality is very poor, in addition angel eyes (probably LED based) won’t look as bright as it is on the picture.

IMO, I think that would be a nice upgrade. I would trust that seller and fitment. Xenon upgrade would be costly as you would need lighting ballasts.
