Running out of gas...... Help?

I am running out of gas with 1/4 to 1/2 of a tank of gas showing on the guage at approximatly 500km on the odo. The tank is supposed to hold 93 litres. When I fill up it will only take 65 litres. I think the problem is part #6 on the attached diagram. This pumps gas from one side of the tank to the sending unit.... (I think)
Has any one ever had this problem?

Dazz,

That is exactly your problem. I dont see an image but what you are describing is the suction jet pump.

Removing the fuel tank????

It looks like the fuel tank will need to come out in order to change the jet pump/harness.....
I removed the rear seat to access the inspection ports but, this does not allow you to get at the jet pump. It must be in between the ports.
Has anyone removed the tank before????
Any help please!!!!!
Thanks
The part in question is #6
