Painting Interior Trim
I want to change my interior trim to the Titanium color, the kit is kind of expensive, and I was wondering if anyone has attempted to paint this or know of someone who has. Any idea on what I would need to pull this off?

I dont think you can.
The wood trim has glosss over the wood. I don't know if that gloss can be painted on without flaking.

Buy the trim you want and sell the wood trim to off-set the cost.

My wood is a little F-ed up, because of road rage combined with the cold weather. I found an DIY over at e46fanatics.com, looks factory!!! I am gonna give it a shot as soon as it gets a lil warmer. He used Filler Primer,320 grit sandpaper, Duplicolor Brilliant Silver and Krylon Clear Gloss Glaze

I would think with a proper scuffing of the current trim and the correct paint, proper paint with possibly the right flex additives......anything is possible.

It all boils down to time and $$....
