Can the nav on my x5 play dvds moves(not kidding)

Hi I know this my be silly but y not ask.

I was on ebay and looked up BMW x5 DVDs and most of the results where sat nav DVDs.

So i guess best to ask then never to know in the sat nav is also a DVD player?.

I dont think they can. Plus I have never heard of anyone using it as a DVD player. The NAV player runs on a special software system.

The nav drive itself will not play a movie DVD

However, you can display a movie DVD on your nav screen if you have the right equipment installed to do so. Check with Tom G. from eas for some solutions.
