Yep, sounds like the PDC computer has gone south. Had the same problem, they replaced PDC computer and life is good again!

It could also just be a bad sensor. I have had one replaced. The trick is figuring out which one is bad.
The symptom was that there was a long beep whenever I'd reverse even with nothing around me. The beep came from the front speaker which is where the bad sensor was. There was a recent thread about this problem. Try a search for it.

Thanks, great idea I did just replace the right rear corner a few months ago and I belive that is where the beeping is coming from.
