Synaptic is on a distinguished road
Hello

Hi All,

It's very nice to find this X5 community and just wanted to introduce myself, I've owned an X5 now for 3 years (bought a 2001 3.0i X5 Standard Transmission used). I've so far been very happy with it. Though now I get an intermittent service engine soon light. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a scan tool, and what else I would need to diagnosis the problem?

I'd rather one that could do more than an X5 or is that not wise?
