When pressing the R/T button...

Is something supposed to happen?

Nothing happens & this is with the music on.

I thought it was supposed to switch between radio and CD? However it doesn't work

What am I doing wrong?

If you have a phone enabled, pressing the R/T button allows you to scroll through your phone directory using the up/down buttons on the steering wheel. Pressing the button again now allows you to change your radio station using the same up/down buttons.

No, you don't need Navigation to use BT in your car.
