Sure is but I bet he sold the car and forget to include the ball and hitch. Maybe he should sell it to the new owner as the new set is around $75 I think.

Yeah I think you need a little more steel to make it work. I just brought a hitch from BMW 495.00 plus tx. They are going to install it this thursday. I decided to have it installed after checking out the installation instructions posted here on the site... Not really interested in the hassle. Seems too complicated.
