front and rear bumper trim

Noticed that different yr models 2001 - 2006 shown on this board have front and rear bumper trim that is painted the same color as vehicle.I'm sure there is another name for it other than trim but I dont know it. Would like to know where it can be purchased and cost if possible.

It looks like you are referring to the 4.6/4.8 underbumper kit(4.8 only on the rear!)

Order them direct from your Bmw dealer.

The 2004+ 4.8 front bumpers have a totally different front clip (Hood, fenders, headlights, bumper and under spoiler)then pre 04 X5's. The rear bumper on all year 4.6 and 4.8 are identical.

Silver 5 will the trim work on 2003 3.0. Noticed that your X has stock bumpers but painted the same color as the vehicle and by the way it is very nice lookin. Wondering if you did the paint job yourself.
