Would a GT-1 diagnosis tell you if a 2001 X5 4.4i's fuel pump was the reason for the vehicle not running. I just got quoted another 550 dollars to replace the fuel pump after a local private BMW shop (J&F Motors LTD) charged 270 dollars to replace an oil filler cap and rubber seal and run the diagnosis with a smoke test. When they went for the final test drive they found out about the fuel pump. They also did the following but it was seperate from the problem: (p/steer hose- pump to rack $260P/$118L) (Right/Left valve cover gaskets $150P/$590L) (Right/Left axle boots $120P/$708L) (FWD control arm ball joint $65P/177L) Do these prices look standard? I don't mind the price as long as everything is correct. Thanks for your help!!
