I wonder if 2004+ with new xDrive will perform better?

So its not a snow climber. Still, not too bad.

My German is limited to pleasantries and ordering beer,
and a couple dozen nouns, so I have no clue what the
announcer said...

Did all the cars have serious snow tires? I could only see
the tires on the 1st car and the Audi.

Was it a newer model XDrive or pre-XDrive?

Different drivers? They sure assaulted the inclines
at different speeds; one car looked liked it stopped
when it had really crested a mogul; others nailed it
until their car stopped/stuck.

Did they run the X with the DSC off and "off-off"?

No homer here, but our '01, pre-XDrive, with dedicated
snows on 17" wheels, made some remarkable climbs up
our snow-over-ice and/or deep snow covered 4 mile road
that climbs our mtn, when we spent winters there.

It was nail it, DSC "off-off", and keep nailing it and steer
the sumbitch, but she always made it.

My Qtr's up...
