Great reminder of what 4800 pounds of highly engineered metal can withstand. If anyone has a problem with the X5's weight, show them this video! Many instances of X5's surviving bad accidents fill this site. Notice, the windshield didn't even break!

On the X5 it looks like the seatback let go as well as the seatbelt. Isn't the seatbelt tensioner supposed to prevent the belt from loosening in a crash?

I have heard of crumple zones....but a crumple car? hmmm haha

I also like on the X5 one how the mirrors go flying off. Crummie little things. (Sorry I have mirror issues now.)

I think it was the rear armrest folding down, not the seatback. I don't know if the belts were buckled, either.
