4.8is Exhaust on a 03' 4.4i.....Can it be done?

I searched the Forum but cannot find specifically whether or not a 04-06 4.8is exhaust (#'s 18107529454/453) would fit an 03' 4.4i from the resonator back.

What is also confusing is the 4.6is mufflers (#'s 18107512699/700) are considerbly more expensive than the 4.8's. It also seems the actual mufflers are a different shape according to the RealOEM printouts.

I like the 4.8 exhaust sound and tips and I do not want to go aftermarket, I want to stick with BWM OEM parts.

Thanks, I actually saw this thread but read over the part about the "different shape muffler".....a couple of questions,

Do you happen to still have all the part numbers you purchased?

Does it fit directly onto the resonator of the 4.4i?
