Can The X5 Go Over A Median?

I hope I am saying that right. The dividers that divide the roads or those blocks that prevent a car from going forward when you park in a parking space.

Let's say that I decided one day to try to go over one of those. Will I get stuck?

Why am I asking? My campus has a huge grass field across one of my friend's dorms. The only way to get there with a car is to go over a parking spot block thing (sorry dont know what it is called).

A couple of simple measurements should do the trick. If they're not as high as the underside of your X, it should go over them just fine. Just go real slow and climb over them rather than hit them at any sort of speed.

But I have to ask, if the only way to get to these dorms is over these blocks and across the field, it must be quite a challenge moving furniture in & out of these dorms. Are you sure that's the only way or are you looking to get yourself in trouble by messing up a nice lawn?

if it's a standard parking block, you should have no problem, just ease up to it, touch the front wheels, and then smoothly accelerate over it, but catch the car with the brakes before it falls off the other side, same process with the rear wheels, the key is going slow and not making any impulsive actions ie hard accel, hard brake or turning the wheels.

Well I tried it on a standard concrete parking block and I ended up with the frame sitting on the block. I back it up while listening to some excruciating noise. I then truly accepted the fact we're not driving Jeeps.

Yes (3.0 Sport). I was firmly planted on the curb. Reverse was the only option.

This will definitely be a no-no later the week when I get H&R springs installed and lose another 1.2" up front.

if you are going for some crazy antics any way you may be better off pulling the parking curb out they are only set on two pieces of rebar

Lets think about this. . .Someone went through a great deal of trouble to put that block there. Do you really think you should be driving over it???
