Check search function - lots of info on this.
The short answer is ..yes, you can retrofit Nav, but it will cost $$$$$ and will vary whether you buy used or new parts and whether or not you do install yourself.

I wanted to put an oem nav in mine, but it looks like a lot of $ and time to get it done (http://www.xoutpost.com/articles/all-...system-x5.html). I think it will be better to put in a pioneer or, alpine, or Kenwood nav, cd, radio system in the dash. The only place I have looked thus far is Crutchfield.com. Maybe one of the vendors sell these or something better.

www.etronics.com for the pioneer AVIC-Z1 cheapest price anywhere. I've been looking into getting one for my X but I'm probably gonna upgrade sooner or later so I'll just let it slide for now .

BTW etronics is cheaper by almost 1000$ compared to other vendors, the catch is that they are not a registered distributor so they cannot honor the factory warranty, but they do offer their own warranty which replaces the defective unit with a brand new one.
