2001 3.0 stalled in tight turn

Was pulling into a parking spot this weekend, basically making a u-turn into it - very sharp turn, when all of a sudden the X stalled. Put in back into Park, turned it off, then back on and it cranked right up.

Any idea what might have happened??

I believe people who had this problem found the problem to be faulty igntion coils.

To that extent, and sorry for bumping this, but there is a loud hissing sound when I make a sharp left/right turn when the wheel is fully turned to either side. Mainly occurs on the right turn.

Any thoughts on that?

This happened once on my 01' 3.0 a year or so ago, never again.

If you turn the wheel to lock on either side, you WILL hear it.
