Anyone use this Putnam Hitch?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Putna...spagenameZWDVW

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with this piece? I'd like to use it (and the X5) to tow an aluminum trailer with a 3000lb. car on it.

I at first bought this model and once I got it decided to compare to the OEM - they are nothing alike. So after some searching on threads here (and there are many on OEM hitches) I got the OEM one and dumped the Putnam. When you get into the install of the hitch you see how much more there is to how it's installed and connected to the frame than the Putnam. Personally I wouldn't do it and spend the $ to get the OEM and wiring kit. It's worth it! I tow a 3,500 boat and wanted the confidence of that good OEM kit.
