They look like replica BFG A/T's...
I have previously used the BFG's on my long gone 98 grand Cherokee. These tires are unstoppable off road, 24"+ snow on a fire road road, no problem, dragging the trailer hitch climbing red rocks, no problem. ect.. I would also never recommend taking the X5 on anything more difficult than a fire road. There are plenty of expensive parts hanging pretty low. Not worth the risk IMO. Now at 250 per tire, it would seem dedicated snow tires may be the better option. BFG style tires squeal, lean/roll and pretty much suck on pavement unless it's raining or snowing. my 1.7 cents |
