do i drill aluminum pedals on the existing rubber pedals?

hi, im thinkin about getting some aluminum pedal for the x. just wondering tho, is the only way for them to stay on is to drill them (including the rest pedal)? there aren't any wires under the rest pedal right? if i really need to drill them i dont wanna damage anything else. thnx

for the brake pedal, you first remove the rubber cover and drill into the metal underneath. As for the gas pedal you drill right into the plastic.

No wires to be concerned about, but be sure to drill nothing bigger than a pilot hole, this way the screw will fit snug and secure.
