Oh, I'd love to have an extra inch of overhang...

Finally figured out what everyone was saying about the tab

It's a _PLASTIC_ tab, attached to the _METAL_ wiper arm that needs removed, NOT a metal tab attached to the replacement blade as I (mis?)read in other posts

(saved in case I ever decide to go back to stock wipers, not likely at $80+ at the stealership)

See attached diagram from realoem, part number 8.

It's a plastic clip on the wiper arm.

Installed ICONS this weekend. Love them on the front but having problems with the back wiper. Removed the old one that only covered the lower half of the window. With the ICON, it misses the top center of the window (no clips or anything to remove). Wonder if the metal wiper assembly is bent.

Yeah...418B. It's almost like the problem others have mentioned when they forgot to remove the plastic clips. When I push the arm down I can see a visible void in the center of the blade as opposed to it being flush against the window. Not sure if there's enough pressure (i.e. maybe the spring is worn). I don't know, I'm reaching I guess.

And you're sure you have the metal rear wiper arm? If the spring is worn, may be time to R&R

Yeah, it's the metal one. I'm alright with replacing it, just seems like I should be able to do something to get it to work right. Thx.

My Bosch Icons have performed very poorly for me.

My newest set started streaking just 2ish months after I installed them. The Blades seem to be degrading somehow.

At first I chalked it up to damaged from the pressure washer...but this doesn't make sense really, as the streaking is thin and more pressure point looking.

Maybe my windshield is just too old and not glassy anymore.

Anyway, they were great the first month.
