Hi,

I have a Sterling Grey/Lava Grey/Titanium Trim colour combo. Not sure if this is that rare. Most grey/silver cars I see have black interiors. I have the Nappa option so the dash, carpets etc. are black so the car doesn't feel too Grey, well IMO anyway.

I typically don't like grey interiors, but I have to say, yours looks great, Don. It looks more off-white to me with the rest of the interior being dark, at least in the pics. Is that how it looks live or is it more grey in person? The 2-tone you got going there looks very sharp. I don't think I've seen that combo before, especially on a 4.8 w/Nappa seats. I'd say that's rare. I'm looking at grey interiors in a totally different light now...

Thanks Willy,

The interior is a very light Grey but has a slight purple tinge to it. I had it before on my previous black X5 so wanted again. The wife wasn't sure all the Grey's were going to work but she's pleased the way it turned out. As for the screens, well worth the money with a young child in tow and we do a couple of long road trips each year so no real problems with "are we there yet?" Only thing I would say, is get a HHD and not a DVD, so much more versatile.

Thanks Jay,

The Grey doesn't look quite as light in the flesh. I have to admit to being a bit of an impostor, as the car is a 3.0d, but when I ordered the car, BMW GB had just introduced a number of Packages including the Sports Package which came with the 4.8is wheels and arch extensions. The price was just to good to miss. (Not very often you hear that about BMW.)
