Talking Price question: Brakes and Service @ dealer

How much will all four brake job cost me at the dealer?

How much will ala 50K mile inspection cost me at the dealer?

The Cleaner is on a distinguished road
700-1100 for the inspection and as high as 800 for the brake job. Do not go to the dealer for inspection, you can do it in your driveway for about 100.00 TOPS and the brake job is a 2 hours and 400 in parts.

If your really in SF PM me, I can look over your rig.

Listen IKE.

I gave you the information i would use. I would pick up the phone and call a few dealers and ask. Certinally they would know what they charge for the service they perform. After a few calls you would get an accurate assesment of what the charges will be. That in my opinion is very useful.

right on. might take you up on the offer. just trying to do some risk assessment before i plunk down at the stealer.

ike: It appears you may be looking for someone who does great work for less money. If that's the case then may i suggest this Factory trained independant?

No I don't own the shop but i have been going there for about 10 years and i have sent several people there because they do good work. It's a father and son shop. Just a suggestion.

European car service 650 589 0233 on El Camino and the 380 is a great Indi family operation as well. Been around forever and really do good work. Not a fancy shop but they are quality people.
