700-1100 for the inspection and as high as 800 for the brake job. Do not go to the dealer for inspection, you can do it in your driveway for about 100.00 TOPS and the brake job is a 2 hours and 400 in parts.

Listen IKE.
I gave you the information i would use. I would pick up the phone and call a few dealers and ask. Certinally they would know what they charge for the service they perform. After a few calls you would get an accurate assesment of what the charges will be. That in my opinion is very useful. Quote:

European car service 650 589 0233 on El Camino and the 380 is a great Indi family operation as well. Been around forever and really do good work. Not a fancy shop but they are quality people.
