Removing resonator on 3.0 w/ stock exhaust. Has anyone ever done this? If so how does it sound?

....Late to the dance, as usual...

....I did the resonator delete a couple of months ago on my '01 3.0....had a shop in LA at La Cienega/Venice manufacture an X pipe in it's place. Certainly more aggressive gurgle, no doubt. Cost me all of 2 hours and $70. One of my most appreciated useless mods....great if you can't find it in yourself to spend $1200 on a name exhaust system......

thanks for answering my question. I have one other, did removing the resonator affect your emissions/ smog test at all? Also what is the name of the shop where you had your work done? Any lack in torque, power?? Did any sensors go off??

Sorry for all the questions.
