transmission leak

My X5 3.0, 5 speed manual transmission just started to leak fluid at the rear of the transmission not toward the engine, any advice.

? Rear seal? Prob should be in automotive forum.

fast4d is on a distinguished road
remove drive shaft and replace the seal. probably 2 hours of labor. seal should be inexpensive.
