Nav Buttons...reset?

Happy New Year!
As hard as I partied last night, I'm hating that I've gotta post a problem to bring in 07. When I jumped in my car last night to go home, there was absolutely no sound coming from the radio (before starting the car, I also noticed that the BMW logo was not on the screen when I opened my door). I proceed with pressing the "Mode" button because when the car was last on, I had my Ipod playing through the Aux mode. Anyway, pressing "Mode" did nothing...so I then pressed the "FM" button...but still nothing. No change on the screen and no change in sounds. The Map just stayed displayed continuously. So..I then press the buttons on the right side...again nothing.....BUT the "Menu" button DOES work. That's it.

All NAV/mapping functions work fine...and I can still hear the nav-voice if I need directions. I just can't hear any music and I really think it's because the mode and FM buttons aren't working.

I'm going to make an appointment at the dealer since it's still under warranty, but in the mean time, any suggestions for trouble shooting this? Is there any way to do a reset to the actual hardware of software? I almost seems like it's hung up on something. either way, having no music in the car is driving me crazy!

Oh...by the way..it's a 2003...production date is 03/03.

Could be your amp or radio module, although that pipes through the radio so it's strange that you can still hear that.

There's fuses in the glove box and the right rear access panel, check to make sure none are blown.

I had this happened on my 4.6is a while back. Just remove the fuse on the rear trunk and plug it back in. It should reset the ibus.
