It should be located in the glove box fuse panel

Wiper fuse

Do I have to take the glove box out? What is the fuse rating?

No, just open the glove box and there is a black plastic access panel that should give you access to the fuses. Not sure what the fuse rating is, but you would obviously want to replace it with the same size as the one that has blown.

This article helped me tonight (link listed above too) - http://www.xoutpost.com/articles/x5/m...wiper-fix.html

Thanks to poster Seba.... The bolts holding the arms were indeed loose and blocking the arms from moving. BMW? How could this happen indeed!
