Need help please. NAV is in german after Xenon install and won't go to USA?

Well I finally got to installing the Xenons I bought a few weeks ago for my girlfriend's X5 and now there seems to be a few problems. First, during the install and battery seemed to have gone dead. When we tried to start her X5 with the dead battery it clicked and the xenons would flicker on and off. I jumped it with my car and the engine started right away and the xenons didn't flicker. Now, the Nav is completely in german and won't let us select the "USA" option to put the language back to english. On top of this problem her "ABS" light is on and the gauge cluster will not show the OBC, odometer and gear selection. I checked a few fuses related to these issues and non were blown. Any ideas as to whats up here? On a positive note, we are happy the car runs and turns on and also glad to see the Xenons working as well. Should I switch back over to the halogen headlights and take the X5 in to our shop? Also, this has been bugging me for a while now, but where is the battery in the X5? I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find it. TIA!

Gary

Update. ABS light went off after a drive around the block. The gas gauge and tachometer also don't seem to work.

Sorry I can't really help you on your problem. But the battery is in the trunk of the car. You have to remove the cargo floor, and you should be able to see it.
