Rear 3rd Brake Light Trouble

I have a 2001 X5, and I just noticed that my rear 3rd brake light (the one in the spoiler) is out. I checked the fuses in the trunk space and in the glove box, and they all appear good. The other rear brake lights are working fine. Is anyone aware of any problems with the rear 3rd brake light, or has anyone had the same experience? If so, what did you find the problem to be?

Thanks,

TG

check the bulb socket

mine is busted on one of my brake lights. I had to buy a new one. WD40 worked but it was on a temp fix.
